Absolutely brilliant broadband!

I got the Full Fibre 1000 and it's been amazing! The speeds are incredible, everything loads instantly. Switched from a much slower provider and the difference is night and day. Installation was smooth, and the engineer was super helpful. I'm so glad I chose Fibrus; this is exactly what I needed for gaming and streaming. I'll definitely be sticking with them!

Consistent service, reliable choice

This is my second time signing up with Fibrus, previously at a different address. I went with the Full Fibre 2000 package this time because I knew what to expect. The consistency is what keeps me coming back; the speeds are always as promised, and I rarely have outages. They still offer good incentives for new contracts, which is appreciated. The installation process felt a bit more streamlined this time compared to a couple of years ago. It's reassuring to know I can count on them for my internet needs without any surprises.

Smooth experience, good support

I ordered the Full Fibre 300 package with the Total Home Wi-Fi option. The online ordering process was clear, letting me check availability and choose my plan easily. Delivery of the eero 6+ router was quick, arriving before the installation date. The engineer who came for the installation was professional and completed the setup efficiently, ensuring all devices were connected. I had a small query about the static IP add-on later, and customer support on the phone was knowledgeable and resolved it quickly. The connection itself has been rock solid, providing excellent speeds for our household, even with multiple devices online. It's a noticeable improvement from my previous provider.

Good speed, installation could improve

I signed up for the Full Fibre 300 plan recently. The internet speeds have been consistently good, exactly as advertised. I stream a lot and work from home, so reliable broadband is key for me. The pricing was competitive with the introductory offer, and I also got a reward card, which was a nice bonus. Installation took a bit longer than I expected, with some minor delays in scheduling the engineer. Nothing major, but it added a day or two to the overall setup. Customer service was responsive when I called to check on the appointment, which was a plus. Overall, I'm satisfied with the service and value.

Fast internet, easy switch

Switched from BT to Full Fibre 1000. Speeds are much faster. Installation was free. Router works well. Happy with the service.

Great value, solid connection

As a first-time customer, I was looking for the best deal for fibre broadband. Fibrus offered a really appealing introductory price for their Full Fibre 100 plan, plus a decent reward card incentive. That definitely swayed my decision over other providers. The cost per month felt very reasonable for the speed I'm getting. The setup was straightforward, and the connection has been stable since day one. It felt like I got a good amount of internet for my money. I'm always trying to save where I can, and this felt like a smart choice.

Got the Amazon eero router with my Fibrus package. Is it worth getting the eero Pro 6E for better coverage, or are the standard ones usually enough?

T TechNigel 1 month ago ✓ Best Answer
Depends on your house size and layout. For a typical 3-bed semi, the standard eero 6+ should be fine. If you have thick walls or a bigger place, the Pro might be worth it.

S SimonK 1 month ago
I upgraded to the Pro 6E and noticed a definite improvement in dead zones.

C ClaireB 1 month ago
It's a big old house, so maybe the Pro is the way to go. Thanks!

E EmmaR 1 month ago
I just added a couple of mesh Wi-Fi extenders and that sorted my coverage issues without going for the Pro.

Which extenders did you use?

Good idea, might try that first.

Thinking about switching to Fibrus from BT, mostly for the symmetrical upload speeds. Anyone made that jump recently?

S SarahJ 2 months ago ✓ Best Answer
Yeah, I did it about 3 months ago. The upload speeds are a game changer if you do a lot of video calls or upload large files. BT felt like dial-up compared to this.

M MarkT 2 months ago
I went with the 1000, no regrets. It's blazing fast.

Which plan did you go for? Thinking the 300.

I'm still with BT but Fibrus just became available in my area. The contract buyout offer sounds tempting, but I'm wary of hidden fees.

S SarahJ 2 months ago
They were pretty clear about it when I signed up, no surprises on my end.

My contract is coming up for renewal with Fibrus. Anyone had any luck negotiating a better deal, or should I just expect the intro offer to expire?

C ChrisP 1 month ago
They usually bump the price after the intro period. I tried to haggle a bit but didn't get far. Ended up keeping it anyway, still better than my old provider.

D DavidG 1 month ago
Yeah, that's what I'm expecting. Just wanted to see if anyone had a magic trick.

I got a small discount by mentioning a competitor's price, but nothing massive. Worth a shot though.

Is Fibrus really better than Virgin Media for gaming? Heard a lot about their low latency but want real-world opinions.

L LiamO 1 month ago ✓ Best Answer
Absolutely. I switched from Virgin 6 months ago. The symmetrical speeds mean uploads don't kill your download during multiplayer. Ping is consistently lower for me.

G GamerRaj 1 month ago
Which plan are you on? Thinking the Full Fibre 1000.
5
M MarkT 1 month ago
I'm on the 1000 too, it's solid.
2
S SophieL 1 month ago
Virgin can be good, but their upload speeds always lagged behind for me. Fibrus is just more consistent all-round for anything real-time.
6
G GamerRaj 1 month ago
That's what I'm hoping for. Virgin drops out sometimes too.
8
C ChloeP 1 month ago
Same experience here with Virgin's upload.

Is the Amazon gift card deal still going on? I saw it advertised somewhere but can't find it now on the main page, don't want to miss out if I sign up.

R Ryan Doyle 3 months ago
Yeah, pretty sure it is. I got one when I signed up last month, it was linked to the specific plan I picked. Just check the offers page or if you go through a comparison site, they usually show it.
5
W Wendy F. 3 months ago
Mine was a Mastercard reward card, not Amazon, so it might depend on the specific promotion or speed you're looking at. They usually apply it automatically with the right link.

Just got Fibrus installed today. Engineer was really quick, but my Total Home Wi-Fi isn't showing up on my phone. Anyone had this issue?

T TechNigel 1 month ago ✓ Best Answer
Did you download the eero app? You manage the whole system through that, not directly through Wi-Fi settings for setup.
7
S SimonK 1 month ago
Yeah, it's a bit different than traditional routers.
3
K KevinB 1 month ago
Oh, right! No, I just tried to connect like normal Wi-Fi. Will try that now.
6
F FionaC 1 month ago
Sometimes it takes a few minutes for the eero network to broadcast properly after installation. Give it a bit.
5
K KevinB 1 month ago
It's been about an hour now, so hopefully the app helps.

Does Fibrus offer an NHS discount? I saw something online but couldn't find a direct link on their site.

D DrMike 1 month ago ✓ Best Answer
Yes, they do! You usually have to verify through Blue Light Card. I got mine last year, saved a decent amount.

I think it's a Blue Light Card discount rather than a direct NHS one. Same difference for most, but just clarifying.

Mine came about 4-6 weeks after activation. They usually send an email with instructions.
